Cosmochemist

I am a research scientist and In Situ Techniques Group Lead at Southwest Research Institute. I am interested in understanding how signatures of protoplanetary disk chemistry are recorded in small bodies such as asteroids and comets, how these primitive bodies combined to build larger planets in the inner and outer solar system, and how planetary origins and evolution contribute to development of habitable environments. I am also interested in the application of mass spectrometry to solve cosmochemical and geochemical problems.
