I am currently a Research Scientist at Southwest Research Institute. I am interested in understanding how the chemistry of protoplanetary disks dictates the chemistry of young planetesimals, how these signatures are recorded in small bodies such as asteroids and comets, and how these primitive bodies combined to build larger planets, including planet Earth. Currently, my research focuses on understanding the role of comets in building larger bodies such as icy satellites and terrestrial planets.
